En décembre 2018, TOPO et l’organisme multidisciplinaire LatinArte s’unissaient pour mettre sur pied INTER@MÉRIQUES, un programme d’accompagnement vers les arts numériques pour les artistes professionnel.le.s issu.e.s de la pluralité culturelle des Amériques.

À travers des activités de formation, de mentorat et de documentation des pratiques et des apprentissages, nous avons accompagné une cohorte d’artistes dans leur cheminement vers la réalisation de projets incorporant une dimension numérique. Conçu comme un parcours sur plusieurs mois, de janvier à septembre 2019 le programme comprenait un cycle d’activités offrant d’abord un portrait général du système culturel québécois avant d’aborder des enjeux plus spécifiques liés aux projets numériques des artistes.

Artist run center TOPO unites with multidisciplinary organization LatinArte to bring you INTER@MÉRICAS, an accompaniment program designed towards digital arts for professional artists from the cultural plurality of the Americas. Through professional training, mentorship, as well as various documentation of teachings and practices, we wish to accompany a cohort of artists in their process of realizing projects which include a digital aspect. The program is designed as a pathway on the course of several months, from January to September 2019. The activity cycle includes the following steps, offering a general portrait of Quebec’s cultural system to then address more specific issues in relation to projects proposed by participants.
