ILIDI is a Quebec-Mexico cocreation program of virtual workshops in digital literature based on the collaboration between the Montreal artist center TOPO, the artistic collective andamio.in and the Centro de Cultura Digital (CCD) of México. This training and dissemination program in digital arts and literature aims to develop the practice of writers, artists and coders through an exchange and learning program with digital tools.
A dozen of virtual cocreation workshops with a group of 20 Quebec and Mexican artists took place in the spring of 2022. The artists pursued their collaboration for a year to present an exhibition of works created through the ILIDI. The exhibition takes place in a virtual space, on the Mozilla Hubs platform. Alone, in duo or trio, 11 artists have finalized 7 pieces, each one set up in its own 3D space available on the web since March of 2023.
